Trivoxphoto.com is the portfolio of three Icelandic photographic artist, a father and his two sons, with decades of combined experience in photography. Ruriksson.com is the blog outlet of our site. Our work is available for purchase as Rights-Managed downloads for commercial and editorial use. Fine Art Prints will be available for purchase in near future.
We specialize in aerial, landscape, fine art and geological (more coming soon) photography. Our image archive is updated on a regular basis with new pictures from our growing library of hundreds of thousands of film and digital images. Majority of our images have been captured on Hasselblad and Nikon cameras.

Björn Rúriksson (Age 59) has been photographing for several decades. With a background in macroeconomics, business administration, geology and aviation, Björn has had a prolific career over the years.
He has authored and co-authored various educational books, films and TV-Programs.
Held lectures at over 60 universities, institutions and clubs internationally, including Harvard Law School, The Royal Geographical Society in London, The Explorers Club in New York, Denver Museum of Natural History, U.S. Geological Survey and the Franklin Institute.
Authored and created several books, including “Iceland from Above”, a journey through the grand features of Iceland’s geology, and “The Beauty of Iceland”, describing Iceland’s Natural wonders and “The Westman Islands”, a picturesque essay of man and his natural environment. Been published in several international magazines including The Geographic Magazine and Geo. Published geology slides sets sold to school authorities in several countries.
Björn has participated, consulted and conducted project orientation in several projects for the Smithsonian Institution, American Museum of Natural History, National Air and Space Administration (NASA), TIME-LIFE, THE TIMES-BOOKS in the US and UK; GEO in New York and Hamburg, Germany; The Times-Books in Singapore; Hasselblad, Skånska and Esselte in Sweden; Gyldendal in Denmark and BBC in London.
Björn has held numerous one-man’s exhibitions in landscape and art photography including:

Rúrik Karl Björnsson (Age 22) is currently a student at Bifröst University studying Business Administration. He has previously studied at SungKyunKwan University in Seoul, South Korea, and at the Commercial College of Iceland.
Rúrik’s work has been displayed in several magazines, books and exhibitions.
